What is MDP?
Maison du Père (MDP) is an organisation of Seventh-day Adventist lay members that supports the construction of churches in the East Congo Union (ECUM).
How much should I contribute?
A minimum of $10 per member per month.
How can I pay?
Two routes: hand your contribution to your team leader (who passes on a total of $50 for the group), or pay directly through the website or the app.
What does MDP fund?
Funds are allocated to voted construction projects: flagship, secondary and tertiary projects.
When can a secondary project start?
Once MDP has reached 1,000 members, i.e. 8 inspectors.
How do you guarantee transparency?
A monthly report is published on funds received and projects completed; every contribution is traced up to the management committee.
I am a former ECUM lay member living in another Union: may I take part?
Yes. Former ECUM lay members and supporters are part of the people who make up MDP.
