Who are we?

An organisation of Seventh-day Adventist lay members, born from the conviction that faith is also expressed through action.

The people involved

Who makes up MDP?

Lay members of the East Congo Union

Active, committed members of ECUM communities: the base that forms the living strength of the movement, month after month.

Former ECUM lay members

Lay members who now serve in other Unions and choose to remain connected to the common work.

Supporters

Anyone, Adventist at heart or friend of the work, who wishes to support church construction in the Union.

Our goal

Supporting church construction

To support the construction of churches in the East Congo Union by pooling the regular contributions of all members.

Mission & vision

A clear mission, a shared vision

Our mission

To mobilise the lay members, former lay members and supporters of ECUM around a common, regular and transparent effort to finance and accompany the construction of churches in the East Congo Union.

Our vision

To see the East Congo Union equipped with churches in large cities and in the interior alike, so that every community has a place of worship and gathering worthy of its faith.

Our values

Pray and act with transparency

The ideology that guides each of our steps.

Prayer first

Without prayer, no project stands. Members are encouraged to pray for one another.

Then action

After prayer comes action. Every member is encouraged to contribute every month and to help the project grow by recruiting new members.

Transparency always

Transparent management of funds guarantees the lasting future of MDP. Every month a report is published: funds received and projects completed.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain.”
Psalm 127:1

Let us build together

Your stone for the building

$10 a month: your stone for the building. Five per group, united to build.
