Maison du Père (MDP) is a solidarity movement of Adventist lay members of the East Congo Union. Our mission: to support the construction of churches across the Union, so that every community has a dignified place to worship, gather and grow in faith.

Introduction
What is MDP?
Maison du Père (MDP) is an organisation of Seventh-day Adventist lay members active in the East Congo Union (ECUM). Born from the conviction that faith is also expressed through action, MDP rallies believers around a clear and measurable goal: supporting the construction of churches in the East Congo Union.
Every active member is the foundation of MDP. From this united and disciplined base come the means and the projects that build houses for God.

Organisation
The 5 / 5 / 5 structure
A simple, clear and scalable organisation that allows every contribution to be followed as close to the members as possible.
This organisation exists to follow contributions: every dollar given is traced, from the member to the committee.

Three levels
A progression that follows the growth of the movement
The funds collected are allocated to construction projects proposed by the management committee and voted on by the strategic committee.
Flagship project
Construction of a large church in a major city: the project that leads the way.
Starting condition
None
Starting point of the project, whatever the number of members.
Secondary project
Construction of a small church in a small town: growth that reaches every village.
Starting condition
1,000
members, i.e. 8 inspectors (1 inspector oversees 125 members).
Tertiary project
Support for a construction already under way, up to $2,500: a helping hand for those already building.
Starting condition

members, i.e. 10 inspectors (1 inspector oversees 125 members).
